My most important organizational performance indicator  

Too often we as leaders look at the wrong indicators or fail to understand exactly how our 'reds' turn to 'ambers' then to 'greens.'  Well-led people bring us the 'greens.'  Indicators or feedback (a gift) like this article told me I had it right.  In your organization do you conduct sensing sessions or 360 degree feedback?  Do you know how your subordinates, peers and superiors see you?  I learned a tremendous amount from how others saw me vs. how I saw myself.  It helped me become a better leader.  It helped me take my 'reds' to 'greens'
